What is Alpha?
An Alpha is a grayscale intensity map. It can be used to represent intensity, masking, and similar things. For example, bump
maps and displacement maps (both in ZBrush and in other programs) are both alphas; the grey intensity represents the
height or depth of the bump or displacement.

Often times image from Photoshop are used in Zbrush or other programs, such as After Effects, Maya, and Blender that
support alpha channels. This grayscale channel has black areas to indicate transparency and white sections that are opaque.

The alpha channel can be found in Photoshop’s Channels palette and is labelled as channel #4.

2. SAVING THE IMAGE AS A JEPG OR PNG FORMAT FILES, THE ALPHA CHANNEL

9. SELECT MASK PEN TOOL

Las áreas enmascaradas no se activan o desactivan simplemente. En cambio, se pueden desenmascarar, enmascarar
