Video Analysis 2 : Divorce

The video shows the sad truth behind a family going through divorce. The child of divorce
is the main character in the video whereas the hidden and mostly forgotten part of divorce is
where their child suffers the most. Not every child of divorce understands their situation and
naturally tend to have a hard time showing their emotion, he says that even though they couldn’t
express their situation, they can still feel the pressure, stress and sadness within. I understand
their situation, the chaos and feeling out of place, they are lost souls. When the child says “Good
things happen to good people, then I must be bad” I feel his I feel the despair and gloom. He
probably blames himself that his parents divorced. If I even had the chance to talk to a child of
divorce, he must understand that it was for his parent’s sake. Being a parent is hard specially if
you cannot communicate with your partner. He must be strong and love his parents no matter
how hard it may seem, people tend to make mistakes, just like he said that parents were just kids
that had kids.
