Dove Cameron is an accomplished singer, actress, and dancer at only twenty-three years old. She’s
Disney royalty. Her name is up there with the greats: Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus, Raven Symone, Zendaya,
etc. She was on the Emmy award-winning Disney Channel show Liv and Maddie. She starred as
Maleficent's daughter Mal in the hit Descendants movie, which went on to become a hit movie
franchise.

She’s leaving the Disney bubble and branching off on her own. She starred in the Netflix movie Dumplin’
based on the best-selling book by Julie Murphy. Dove had a guest stint as Ruby on Agents of Shield.
She’s not only working in movies and television. She’s been doing a lot of work on stage acting in
musicals. She was the lead in an Italian opera called Light in the Piazza and she played Cher in the off-
Broadway production of Clueless the Musical. She’s been breaking into the music industry releasing
singles “Bloodshot” and “Waste.” She’ll be releasing her highly anticipated debut album in the next
coming months. She's young, but it's clear Dove is an actress to watch.

She Got Her First Tattoo When She Was 14

Dove got her first tattoo, a Leo symbol, illegally when she was fourteen. Her best friend knew someone
who had bought a tattoo gun online and she (Dove's best friend) wanted to get a tattoo. When the time
came, she was nervous and afraid, so Dove decided to get a tattoo and go before her.

She Speaks French

Dove is fluent in French. As a child she went to France numerous times as it is the birthplace of one of
her paternal great-grandmothers. Most of Dove’s tattoos are in French. The language clearly has a
special place in her heart.

She's a Huge Advocate for Mental Health


Dove is open with her friends about mental health and the perils of social media, anxiety, and body
image. She promotes mental health awareness to her fans through her Twitter and Instagram while at
the same time is aware of her boundaries and her limits. Mental health is a constant struggle and Dove
much like everyone else is working on it.
