A WALK TO REMEMBER

Landon Carter is known in their school as a typical bad boy who disobey with his friends.
Until one night, as they went to an abandoned swimming pool to make a challenge for the new
comer who wants to join their friendship not knowing that they will have a bad experience in that
abandoned swimming pool. As a minor, the chief officer let it slide but not the principal of their
school- who give him a task and one of it is to join the school campus drama club. One of the
members of the said club is none other than the lovely, sweet, conservative and soft-hearted
Jaime Sullivan- the daughter of the pastor or priest in their town and obviously, Landon’s
opposite. As days goes by, they become friends, they would meet at Jaime’s house to practice or
read their scripts but their friendship was broken because of what Landon did- he embarrassed
Jaime in front of his friends. Fast-forward to the day of the play where Jaime played as the secret
or mysterious singer of the club or a bar and just by taking a glimpse of Jaime’s face he fell in
love. Their feelings became mutual and they continue to love each other. One night, Jamie
confessed to Landon that she has illness- A leukemia and she stop having treatments for the past
two years. Landon, on the other hand, never left her, instead he does sweetest things for her like
doing what she wants to do which is to see stars, giving her flowers, making her a telescope and
more. As days gone by, Jaime’s illness worsened that made her weaker, Landon witnessed all of
it and it is the reason why Landon keep holding unto her and make her feel that she is not alone
facing her illness until Landon ask Jamie to be his lawful wife, both of them were happy until
that summer when Jamie died. On the other hand, Landon pursue in becoming a doctor also
taking care of Jamie’s father. His love for Jamie is strong and he described her like the wind, he
can’t touch her but he can feel it.
