The Danube is one of the most important rivers, being the second largest in Europe and certainly,

without being subjective, one of the most spectacular on the planet. Galati is the largest harbour on
the Danube, which offers an important European commercial and river artery. Thus, being the main
attraction, along the river that crosses our city, a wonderful recreational space has been developed,
which combines the specific flora with the unique fauna that characterizes this area. At the same
time, it is "populated" by many original iron monuments, representative of the city, being a unique
metal sculpture exhibition in Europe in terms of the number of exhibits, but also the notoriety of the
authors (well-known artists from 12 countries). At the same time, on hot summer days, Danube
Beach becomes an important attraction, being an area that offers attractive opportunities, from an
Aqua Park to energetic concerts.
