PROJECT TOPIC:

Design and construction of spark-plug-electromagnetic device for the generating electricity onboard
vessel.

Aim

To design and construct spark-plug-electromagnetic device for efficient power supply on onboard vessel
for lighting and operation of vital power consuming devices.

Objectives

Review of related literatures.

Obtained a case study vessel and determined its total electrical power generated and consumed.

To reduce exhaust gas emission and auxiliary diesel generator to the atmosphere.

To reduce noise pollution on the marine environment.

Reduce the deadweight of the vessel that would have been occupied by the diesel generator. This will
further improve the economy of the vessel by increasing its revenues.
