4.1.3 Journal: Write Your Own Big-Picture Narrative

Surviving life in a post classical-era

The post Classical-era was an era when change, development and

innovations to the world that we see today took place. During this era, civilizations
have already started to grow to sizes that never have been seen before in history.
Connections between civilizations also developed and networks of trade started to
appear all around the globe. The growth of civilization during this era spread
throughout the world making connections between civilizations a lot easier.

The major regions that changed during this era are Western Roman Empire,
Han China, Sasanian empire, and the Gupta empire. The fall of the roman empire
during this era impacted its surroundings greatly. The fall of the Roman Empire led to
instability in the empire’s former territories. The fall of the Roman Empire also led to
the widespread of the Christian religion throughout the European nations. This
widespread of Christianity led to a worldwide spread during the following eras and
today we can see that Christianity is the most believed religion in the world today.

During the post Classical-era, trade unified civilizations and helped grow
connections with each other. In today’s world, we can still see the effects of the post
Classical-era as trade continues to happen between countries and deepens the bond
and connections between each country. Another big change is the widespread of
Christianity. The post-classical era made Christianity rise to the top in religions.
