To begin with, leadership refers to the ability to lead others.

It is, without a doubt, one of life's

most crucial features. Above all, being a president in our country has aided human civilization's
advancement. No organization or group can succeed without competent leadership. Furthermore,
this quality is not shared by everyone. This is due to the fact that an effective political leader
necessitates the presence of certain key attributes. In the Philippines, we have observed alarming
actions and aggressive discussions produced by politicians. After witnessing how each candidate
runs their campaign and the causes they support over the past few years, I believe it is critical to
maintain focus inside the party. In the 2016 presidential and vice presidential elections, Davao
City mayor Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippine Democratic Party-People Power (PDP–Laban)
defeated four other candidates for the presidency, while House representative from Camarines
Sur Leni Robredo of the Liberal Party defeated Senator Bongbong Marcos and four other
candidates in the vice presidential election by the narrowest margin since 1965.

The President is regarded as the country's leader. This individual is supposed to be in charge of
the entire country. Everyone understands that the presidency is the most powerful office in the
country. This individual represents his country in international forums and oversees its economic
progress. Presidents, without a doubt, have several functions and responsibilities. During the
COVID-19 outbreak in the Philippines, the government was chastised for how it handled the
situation. In August, Robredo gave a televised speech in which he claimed that the
administration had no measures to deal with the outbreak. In a separate speech days later,
Duterte himself requested Robredo not to "add fuel to the fire" by making 10 proposals on how
to resolve it. The current president's term has come to an end.

Being president of our country, regardless of who it is, has a wide range of effects on the people.
Politics in our contemporary generation is expected to have the largest impact on people's lives,
whether in the short term or long term. Their effect on individuals and civilization is difficult to
quantify, which is why we must decide who will be our leader, who will play the most
significant position in our society, and, more significantly, who will represent the path of the
Philippines' future, which has yet to be determined.
