familiar aspects of his/her life (basic information about him/herself and his/her
family, shopping, places of interest, professions, etc.).

2. Be able to describe simple aspects of past issues.

-Understand short, simple texts with frequent, everyday vocabulary, including
international vocabulary terms.

3. Find specific, predictable information in simple everyday material such as

advertisements, prospectuses, menus, and timetables.

4.Understand short simple personal letters.
