Dear Mr.

Garfield,

I'm writing to ask for a refund of the $1,000 deposit I paid to you before renting
No. 6A, Wayfield Terrace for the month of May. When I called your office, I was
told that you do not plan to reimburse this amount, which I do not understand.

It was my understanding when I signed the rental agreement that the money
would be refunded if the unit was abandoned tidy and undamaged. When I
returned the keys, the apartment was in this state. There were no breakages or
damage to fixtures or furniture when I cleaned the entire flat.

I believe I have adhered to the terms of the agreement, and hence humbly request that
my deposit be refunded in full. If we are unable to address this situation satisfactorily,
I will be forced to seek legal assistance.

Yours sincerely

Ly Tam
