While passing the weighing belt, the load cell detennines the
products' actual weight. The products are weighed according to the
principle of electromagnetic force compensation. The determined
weights are processed in the computer and displayed on the
touchscreen.
The weighing belt and the motor are mounted onto the load cd!.

ADVICE
During the automatie operation the auto tare function
is doneautomatically as soon as a gap in the product
stream is recognized. This will be indicated by the AT
display on the touchscreen. If this should not be
possible within 15 minutes., a warning message will
follow. This message will lead to a malfunction and
thus to a stop ofthe machine, zero point setting.
ADVICE
Disconnect the checkweigher from the power supply.
Ensure that all electric connections of adjoining
machines are disconnected before transporting the
machine.
Disconnect the machine from the anchoring point.
Test the machine for basic function during the first test fUll.
Test the machine for all optional functions with products during the
second test ron.
Are the products weighed correctly?
Are the non-count packages pushed out?
In case of malfunctions:
Please refer to the chapter ERROR ELIMINATION.
In case you should not be able to eliminate the malfunction contact

ADVICE
... Only touch the touchscreen with your fingers.
Do not touch the touchscreen with pointed or sharp
object as this will damage the surface of the
touchscreen.
A light pressure issufficient to activate the touch
screen symbols.
Clean the touchscreen with a damp, Iint-free cloth.

HINT
Set the delay time so that all interferences by the
moving of the goods onto the weighingbelt are
eliminated.
The measuring time begins after passing ofthe delay time. During
the measuring time all measuring values are averaged. The measur-
ing values are equal to the average value of the different weight
values during the measuring time.
<D Loading
During the Loading phase the product is transported from the
inputbelt to the weighing belt. During this process, the weight
value increases steadily.
(i) Settling
The settling phase begins after the product has been completely
transported onto the weighing belt.. During this settling phase the
signal stabilizes and the Loading disturbances die out.
® Measuring
After the Loading disturbances have mostly died out the measure-
ment signal evaluation starts. The product's weight value is deter-
mined automtically. The weigh value is displayed, as soon as the
measurement has been completed.
@) Discharging
The measurement is completed, the product is being transported
from the weighing belt onto the output belt. The weight value
decreased continuously.

• Line parameter
The line dependent time parameter are calculated from the line
parameter. They are the basis for thesettings on the checkweigher.
• Measuring parameter
The measuring parameter are used for the evaluation of the check-
weigher's weight signal. The measuring parameter can be set at the
control unit of the checkweigher in two ways; either graphically by
moving the respective times or numerically by entering the respec-
tive values, für details, see below.
