7 PH soap operas that made waves in Southeast Asia

Filipino teleseryes have also become popular among our ASEAN neighbors.

Filipinos love their teleseryes and are proud of the work that we see on our TV screens every night. But
did you know that some of our TV series are popular not only in our country, but also in parts of Asia
and Africa? These shows have given our celebrities exposure in the international scene, and they've
even gone abroad to promote their shows in other countries too.

Here are a few of our homegrown shows that have grown followings in Southeast Asia. (Villano, 2017)

Ang Amaya ng ay pang anim (6) sa listahan na ito. Tumampok ang ratings na naturingang epicserye sa
mga bansa ng Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia at South Korea. Ang epic serye na pinagbibidahan ng
maligayang aktress na si Marian Rivera ay saying nakaka taba ng puso. Ang makapangyarihan at
transendetalismong representasyon ng mga Pilipino sa seryeng ito ay walang katumbas.

Ang pagarte ng mga aktor at aktress ay sadyang nakakabigahani sa punto na pakiram mo ay naroon
karin sa sitwasyon na kanilang kinagagalawan. Kung kaya’t nararapat lamang ang pagpwesto ng
epicserye sa pagpaparangal at appreciation ng komunidad ng ASEAN.
