I would like to share with you my reflection about my last presentation
which was focused on our project called diary “knowing what is ours” as a ludic strategy to strengthen the writing of narrative texts in fifth grade students. First of all, I consider that my presentation was effective since I was able to impart the main purpose of our project which was students improve their writing skills of narrative texts taking into account three aspects: knowing history, culture and touristic places of Pasto and Nariño. Second, one element that I can highlight from my presentation was organization because I was able to talk about my project with a good structure where I started greeting my classmates. After that, I did a good introduction presented the title about our project. Then I talked about the main aspect of our project, which would be the body. Finally, I concluded by taking up the main aspect of our project, and I did a short introduction about my classmate Giovanna was going to continue talking about. Third, I will mention some aspect that I need to improve. Body language because I was just moving my hands in a one way, and that is wrong because I must also make some gestures, move from one place to another. In addition, I need to improve my pronunciation for the reason that I mispronounce some basic words. In short, I had some positive and negative aspects in my presentation. In order to strengthen my future speech, I will propose three goals that I want to achieve. First, to make better use of the space I have in my presentations. Second, to improve pronunciation and vocalization. Finally, to talk a lot with my partners, teachers, and people who can speak English in order to be more confident, and thus to control my nerves.
