There are different signs that might be displayed at areas of recycling center that can help in reducing

the risk for workers and public like;

1. Prohibition sign of No pedestrians entry must be placed as there is no pedestrians access

provided to the site for public in the recycling center.
2. One way road system sign to be displayed as vehicles enter through gate with a one way road
system.
3. Signs for speed retarders in the road must be displayed according to the intervals they are
available with.
4. Speed limit signs must also be displayed as the vehicle has to be in queue and travel slowly
along narrow access road.
5. No over taking signs must also be displayed as the road is narrow and one way and this could
result in accident inside the premises of recycling and reusing center.
6. A turn right sign board needs to be displayed as the access road turns right for taking the
vehicles into ramp for parking area
7. Safety signs on existing of the slope at ramp leading to parking area must also be displayed for
the vehicles.
8. A stop sign must be displayed at the raised parking platform area where drivers of the vehicles
are directed to do so also.
9. Parking sign must also be displayed at the designated parking area provided for the vehicles in
the recycling and reusing center.
10. PPEs safety signs must also be displayed as the existing signs are faded as complained by the
workers in the recycling and reusing center.
11. Signs regarding safe handling techniques must also be displayed at the site of depositing the
waste into skips.
12. Safety sign of narrow access must be displayed as the access toward parking is quite narrow.
13. Safety sign regarding unauthorized entry to be avoided must also be displayed in the site of
recycling and reusing company
14. Safety signs regarding No smoking, Emergency escape and Fire fighting equipment can also be
displayed at site of recycling and reusing company.
15. Safety signs regarding caution must also be displayed at site of parking near skips
