SKIRT DRAPING

Marked the hipline on the dress form using styling tape.

draped it on the dress form and marked the darts

Tried one technique of ruching by placing
pleats on one shoulder and creating a design elements as on
one shoulder dress

After trying a lot of explorations I finally


decided to chop off the white net.
I have applied both the techniques on one dress form to create this
ensemble.

Creating a style line passing through the bust point I have constructed this top
having 4 pieces of striped fabric. while stitching the false darts I faced a lot of
difficulties. the draping part of the assignment is what I enjoyed.
