Campus mailing System

Abstract

This project entitled as “campus mailing system” which is developed for


the college to send bulk emails. The proposed system is a web based application,
which is useful for the management to handle all students’ details and mailing
process.

If the admin or management needs to send any email, they need to compose
for individual, this is a time consuming process. The proposed system facilitates
bulk mail facility to the college to send different types of emails. The email can be
sent to the students at any time with different constraints. The following featured
emails are composed pre-define and can send at any time to the students.

 Event oriented emails.


 Mark details
 Semester details
 General circulars
 Campus interview alerts etc.,

The project has two types of users one is management and another one is
students. The students can login and get the details using this application. The
management or admin can login and send emails to the students by selecting the
category from the above list.

Advantages of proposed system:

 Fast and bulk Email within the campus


 No need to send individual emails
 Secure and reliable
 No need to type all the contents every time

Disadvantages of Existing system:

 Existing system doesn’t have bulk mail process for the campus
 Need to type every students name, mail etc.,
 Time consuming

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

known as hardware, a hardware requirements list is often accompanied
by a hardware compatibility list (HCL). An HCL lists tested, compatible,
and sometimes incompatible hardware devices for a particular operating
system or application.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
It is a complete description of the behavior of a system to be developed and
It includes a set of use cases that describe all the interactions the user will
have with the software. In addition to use cases, the SRS also contains non-
functional requirements.

Coding language : C#.NET

Back End : SQL Server 2008
