COMPARISON

Vandalism has been relatively rare in South Mumbai when compared to other parts of
the city. However, Mumbai has seen this in the past owing to political tensions, the
government's failure to meet people's demands, and a few other factors on the
contrary vandalism isn't very common in the Netherlands, and you don't see it very
often unless you work in a specific field. It used to happen more frequently when old
people were younger, but it is now far less common. The traffic scenario in the
Netherlands with reference to Vandalism is the police patrolling is not as much as it
used to be in the before years. Bus shelters and garbage cans are the most vandalized
items in the Netherlands. To juxtapose Common vandalized area or items in India are
Walls of Monumental or heritage sites, statues and some government schools. To
prevent vandalism our counterparts in Netherlands said that they could use a police
station and more police patrolling to prevent vandalism. Cameras in public spaces,
such as bus stops, would be an excellent addition. Some individuals believe that
vandalism begins with a child's upbringing, and that parents should begin lecturing
their children at an early age to avoid it. In India we decided that severe punishments
should be given to the vandal such as public humiliation, setting up Video
Surveillance, have fixture designs to deter vandals and most importantly if noticed
one was vandalizing, he/she should be reported to authority.
