Who are eligible to run for candidacy?


Qualification for Philippine President and Vice-President:
1. natural born citizen of the Philippines
2. registered voter
3. able to read and write
4. at least 40 years of age on the day of election
5. resident of the Philippines for at least 10 years immediately preceding the election.

Qualifications for Philippine Senators:


1. natural born citizen of the Philippines
2. at least 35 years old on the day of the election
3. able to read and write
4. registered voter
5. resident of the Philippines for not less than 2 years immediately preceding the day of the election

Qualification for Philippine Congressmen (District Representative):


1. natural born citizen of the Philippines
2. on the day of the election at least 25 years old
3. able to read and write
4. registered voter in the district in which he shall be elected
5. resident thereof a period of not less than 1 year immediately preceding the day of the election.

Who are eligible to vote?
All Citizens of the Philippines, 18 yrs of age or over, and residents of the Philippines for one year and for
atleast 6 months in the city or municipality.

Why youth?
The youth has power. The influence of social media.
As today: 65,745.529 registered domestic voters. – 20.4million (33%) are YOUTH VOTERS: (18-30yrs
old)
If we, the youth will unite, we can change to have a better leader to lead our country.
Relevance, Faithful Representation, Verifiability, Comparability, Understandability, Timeliness.
- Let’s use these concepts in choosing our next leaders, and to who are we going to vote.

• Promotion and prioritization of Public Health
• Awareness on different platforms in regards of candidate’s human life and dignity
• Must have good reputation and clean record
• Corruption issues?
• May ethics complain tulad ng habitual tardiness o plagiarism
• Kaso sa Ombudsman?
• Abuso sa kapangyarihan?
• Ill-gotten wealth?
• Malaking negosyo?
• May prinsipyo sa sariling larangan
• Nagsisilbing good role model sa kanyang kumunidad
• Naging mahusay na mag-aaral, empleyado, indibidwal
• May mga parangal sa paglilingkod
• May maayos na track record
• Mayroong malawak na kaalaman sa kanyang papasukin
• May advocacy sa karapatang pantao
• Batid ang mga problema ng lipunan
