INSTITUTION LOCATED IN ARUSHA

INTRODUCTION

Accounting information system is base tools for recording reporting and evaluating economic activities
and transaction that affect business enterprises. It encompasses all document of business financial
performance from payroll, cost, capital, expenditure and other obligation to sell revenue and owner’s
equity. The tools provides necessary financial data about one business to internal and external users,
such as managers, investors and other stakeholder. It sometimes referred to as a means to an end with
the ending being the decision that would be taken on the basis of accounting information system.

OBJECTIVE

The general objective of this research was to assess the role of accounting information system on
managerial decision making in Arusha

PROBLEM

The best of my knowledge the role of accounting information system in making decision in Arusha has
not been given sufficient attention and impact effective managerial decision making .

Major challenge lies in the quality and validity of accounting information that is its timing , clarity that
could ensure minimized ,risks, failures and uncertainties.
