Pms Comment Sheet Rev.8-160219: Alarm Indication
8- 160219
Note 1) Please refer to Flow Charts as next pages for each condition of stand-by DG start.
2) Please only prepare stand by-start generator with synchronizing and CB close function, when
Voltage high/low, Frequency High/low.
It will be determined at site commissioning stage.
3) Voltage High/Low & Frequency High/Low alarm with two (2) of D/G stand-by start function
are to be added only for D/G starting
4) Temperature High-High/Low-Low alarm with one (1) of stand-by D/G start and connect BUS
BAR (i.e. D/G incoming CB close) function is to be added with auto-synchronizing.
After synchronizing, the faulty D/G is slowly stopped with load shifting.

3) CB re-connection tables
- Circuit breakers of transformers, main DG incoming and HVSB bus tie breaker are
equipped with under voltage relays. The PMS will reconnect the breakers after Main DG
has started. This requires that none of the breakers are blocked for any reason.

1) Scope
- Maximum load/Capacity (KW) of each GTG and actual/using load (KW) on DP4 is transferred to
FSO’s PMS. And then, FSO’s PMS calculating remain load with actual/using load (KW) & Maxi
mum load /Capacity (KW).
- The FSO’s stand-by generator is automatically started by PMS in order to parallel running with
DP4 power when remain load is reached at 85% of total remain load on DP4 power.
- In this regard remain load parameter (%) can be adjusted by parameter input on PMS.
- For easy understanding, please refer to below graph.

1.1.8. Isochronous mode.
1) Scope
- DGs can parallel running when Isochronous mode.
- When Isochronous mode selected, each D/G start/stop command can available from PMS.
- There is no feedback signal for Isochronous mode from DG.
1.1.9. PMS shall have Symmetric and Asymmetric load sharing mode. And load sharing can be
carried out by PMS as per selection of Symmetric or Asymmetric mode
1.1.10. Reactive (KVAR) Unbalance alarm set point will be informed after discussing with Generator
engine Maker.
Reactive (KVAR) load sharing function is to be added. In this regard, please refer to below
I/O concerning the reactive power signal of each D/G.
1.1.11. When all DG running and voltage/frequency High-High/Low-Low condition, the logic and
sequence are to be verified and installed by KM.
