Artificial Intelligence in Autonomous driving

● Autonomous driving is responsible for routing, collision

detection, and prediction of a vehicle. It does so using a
variety of sensors embedded in the vehicle.
○ Some companies opt for Lidar and radar, while others
such as Tesla utilize a camera only system.

● Autonomous driving the most commercially followed

application of artificial intelligence (AI).

● AI faces many so many challenges that it is easy for many

to fly over our heads. There are many instances of self
driving vehicles hitting the most easily avoidable obstacles
because they matched the color of the sky or something
else overlooked. The sensors must also be able to interpret
and read data in real time with the algorithm being able to
handle it all efficiently.
