An environmental value system is a point of view from a person or
group of people that shapes how they see and value the environment. When looking at the Chernobyl disaster it is clear that the way nuclear power works needs to be solved. The aftermath of this event was devastating killing thirty-one people just weeks later due to the steam explosion, radiation and thermal burns. Moreover extensive amounts of land were contaminated. Agriculture and natural ecosystems were majorly impacted. Personally I see my-self as an ecocentric individual. Reasoning for this is that as a solution I would advise people to just stop using nuclear power and just rely solemnly on renewable energy resources.
