that you are able to recognize the factors that played a role in the New
Imperialism were not very new, they didn’t just happen during one event, they
happened multiple.
Summarizing
Imperialism resurfaced once areas of the world became industrialized. I studied
the New Imperialism and the elements that continued to this pivotal period in
history I need to learn more about the circumstances that contributed to various
parts of the world getting colonized, such as what the local factors were, now the
environment was and how the people in these areas resisted colonialism
How I was able to reach these conclusions was that I analyzed the article, then
highlighted the key terms and detail. I also had to recognize the contributing
factors to understand how the New Imperialism gained its name and what effect

This relates to my overall understanding in that it shows me that all of these
events built on each other and if the first one wasn’t there the ones following also
wouldn’t be there. There a stepping stone for the world and even my life. Things
could be so different if these events didn’t happen and if the world wasn’t like
what it was in the past. We wouldn’t even be surviving without some of the
strategies that they used and the technology they started out with.
This article was interesting to see how things changed ever so slightly. Yes, I
would say it is important to understand what we are studying in World history
because it teaches us and makes us understand what happened on this planet
before we were born or even are grandparents. It helps us understand what this
world was like and how it operated plus it shows the difference from the past to
now modern times.
