I. INTRODUCTION:
The pandemic has starkly highlighted the fragility of our educational system. It is
therefore crucial that the innovation and creativity stimulated by this crisis be leveraged
to make education system more just, inclusive and resilient. However, our department –
MAPEH stand still and ensure potential opportunities for improvement in the areas of
curriculum, students, teachers and educational settings.

In the entire school year, many had happened and breaks out limit beyond the
pandemic. All of these go along way in the educative process and evidence shown in the
data’s presented follows and activity completions reports for the school years’ activities.

2. Physical Facilities
1.1. Learning Materials
 SLMs (Self-Learning Modules) supplied by the SDO is not sufficient and
delayed. Thus, the Department decided to craft an own and contextualized
Self-Learning Material to supplement the lessons. Learning Activity Sheet
were crafted from Grade 7-10 MAPEH by the teachers of Llorente NHS. With
1:1 ratio per week for the entire School year.
 Video Lessons were also made and uploaded in the YouTube Channel of
Teacher Eugene to cater diverse learners and motivate them well in the
educative process.
 Other Learning Tools
Books, Learning Modules were free to use by the learners

RATIONALE

For many Filipino artists, February goes beyond just the Heart’s Month. Under Presidential
Proclamation no. 683, the Philippines recognizes its culture and art in different forms with
celebration of the annual National Arts Month every February and halfway through January, the
National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) is already gearing up for a month of artistic
festivities, starting with its theme.
This 2021, National Arts Month, also called “Ani ng Sining, Alay-Sigla” which aims to
provide opportunities for artists to harness their creative energies in uplifting the nation’s spirit,
especially during this time of public health crisis.

In light of this, the Llorente National High School seeks to conserve, promote and
popularize local artistic creations integrate the arts in the community life. LARAB-LNHS is coined
from the visayan colloquial term which means “to glow and flare”. This will be a celebration of local
artists and diversity of talents and skills in the school community looking forward to a richer, more
fertile ground in the coming years through creative and artistic imagination of our local/student
artists.

OBJECTIVES:
1. Showcase artistic expression of students in the field of music & arts, film & dance, etc.
2. Provide opportunities that harness and strengthen local artists and students.
3. Enlighten young minds and foster positivity amidst public health crisis through expressions
of art.

and skills.

1. Spoken Poetry (Per Grade level)


Spoken poetry is a piece of creative writing that is best delivered through performance, so it
can be a story, poetry or some combination.
Category:
 JHS K to 12 (1 entry per level)
 JHS STE (1 entry per level)
 SHS (1 entry per strand)
a. This activity is a virtual word spoken poetry competition.
b. The participant will be submitting a video pf the delivery of the spoken poetry piece
he/she has originally written.
c. The entry must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme.
d. The entry can be written in Filipino, English or combination of both languages.
e. The entry must not contain derogatory, malicious or offensive words.
f. Additional sounds should be original and non-copyrighted.
g. The original video output must not exceed 3 minutes.

Tiktok is a social media platform used to make variety of short-form videos, from genres like

- There will be one entry per category on the following contest:

- Students will create a “LARAB” style tiktok amidst pandemic with the hashtags

- Video length is at least 15-60 seconds and must use appropriate sound (music, original
etc)
- No profanity and inappropriate language, for dance also must be in appropriate attire
and gestures.

3. Poster-Making
A digital poster-making or digital image displays relevant information to an audience.
1. Contest is open to all JHS & SHS students of Llorente NHS
2. Poster must capture the issues & challenges among students on the recent COVID-19
pandemic.
3. Poster must all be original and drawn in a landscape format. ½ ILLUSTRATION BOARD
4. There should be no name written on the output (only the over-all coordinator will put
markers on each entry)
5. Deadline of submission is Feb. 18, 2021.

4. Vlogging Contest
Video vlog also shortened as vlog consists of creating a video of yourself where you talk on
a particular subject such as reporting or reviewing an event.
Vlog contest aims to create a powerful story around the theme: LARAB-LNHS, Local Artists
Radiates and Bloom Llorente NHS and will serve as the promotional video for Llorente NHS
during the pandemic.

5. LOKAL yan!
Lokal yan is coined among Visayan or local in English. This is a platform where
preservation of the past has given recognition.
a. This contest is about the preservation of the local arts. The legacy contributed to the
development of Llorente.
b. The contestant will submit any of the following historic preserved locally (essay/siday,
indigenous/native musical instrument, visual artwork, well-known resident, local
architects, structure, etc.) with citation.

CRITERIA:
1. Historical Quality – 40%
2. Relation to Theme – 30%
3. Clarity of Presentation – 10%
4. Votes – 20%
