Rule: If the subject is meant for some verb, then
“ing” needs to be used with that verb. If | say
“Ram is meant for cricket.” This sentence is
correct but if | say “Ram is meant for play.” This
sentence is incorrect as “play” is a verb and |
need to use “ing” with it so the correct sentence
would be “Ram is meant for playing.”
