3. Admit Card Download

a. Open the Admit Card portal through the URL http://sxuk.semester.cbtexam.in/

b. Login to your account by providing SXUK Registration No and Password
c. Download Admit Card
d. For any issues, please contact Admit card helpdesk through call or email as per the details mentioned on the
portal
e. Admit Card Download starts from 6th May 2021. Candidates will be intimated through SMS / Email
accordingly
f. Details of Technical Support will be mentioned on Admit Card

4. Candidate System Configuration Required for Online Examination

• Type of System – Laptop/ Desktop

• Operating System – Windows 7 (64 bit) or above / MAC
• Processor – Dual Core or above
• RAM – 2 GB or above
• Hard Disk Drive (HDD) – 20 GB free space in “C” Drive
• No Webcam or Microphone required
• Internet Connectivity – 3 to 5 Mbps with auto connect mode through Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi
• Antivirus should be disabled
• Window Defender service should be disabled.
• Screen Saver and Sleep mode should be off.
• In case of virus affected system, it needs to be formatted.

5. Mock Test

• Mock is scheduled on 07th, 08th and 09th May 2021 and it is MANDATORY as per orders from the University.
• The candidate MUST take the mock test strictly as per the scheduled timings shared through email and SMS.
• In case the candidate does not login as per scheduled timings he/she will NOT be able to take the mock test
on that day.
• In case of any technical issues faced during the mock test please contact Technical Support and get the issue
resolved to ensure that same problem does not reoccur during actual examination. The University will be not
liable for any technical problem that was not reported or not resolved during mock test.
• Technical Support will be available from 09:30 am to 06:30 pm on all days
• In case of any issues with regards to installation or system set up till 17th May 2021 please feel free to write
to online.examsupport@sxuk.edu.in. Once the Admit Card is live Technical Support will be allocated to each
and every candidate and respective details will be printed on Admit Card

6. Candidate System Readiness for Mock and Main Exam

Please follow the instructions to take mock test(s) and semester exam(s)

a. Install Google Chrome browser in your laptop / desktop if it is not installed. URL - https://bit.ly/39sP2hJ

b. Delete browser history of all the time by clicking Ctrl+H key after opening the browser. Alternatively,
browser history may be deleted under browser settings

c. Allow Pop ups for the exam URL

d. Open the SXUK Online Exam portal (http://sxuk.semester.cbtexam.in/)

e. Click on “ONLINE EXAM” under the tab “EVEN Semester Examination (Final SEM.)”

• Click on Login to START the mock test /exam

• After Login you will get the Welcome Page

• Click on NEXT to get the Instructions page

• Click on START EXAM

• There are three sections – MCQ , SUBJ3M and SUBJ5M
• Select the correct option (radio button) and click on NEXT to save the response; the Question Palette turns
GREEN which indicates that the response has been saved on the server. If the palette does not turn GREEN
and becomes RED please escalate immediately to the Technical Support

• Type the response to Subjective Questions in text box provided and click on NEXT to save the same; the
Question Palette turns GREEN which indicates that the response has been saved on the server. If the palette

• Click on “END EXAM” once you attempt all the questions and wish to submit the exam

 7. Do’s and Don’ts

Do’s:

1. Switch ON your laptop / Desktop and check whether its working properly.
2. Check the internet connectivity; it should be stable with 3 to 5 Mbps bandwidth.
3. Clear “All time browsing history” in Google Chrome.
4. Be present at a location where your mobile phone network is available so that you should receive important
SMS and Technical Helpdesk can reach you over the call (if required)
5. Keep checking your emails for important information regarding the exam.
6. Take the semester exam alone at a quite location.
7. Login to the exam strictly at stipulated time
8. Escalate immediately to the Technical Helpdesk in case the Question Palette does not turn GREEN even
after responding and clicking on NEXT.
9. Always keep the charger connected in case you are taking the exam through laptop.

Don’ts:

1. Take the exam through Smart Phone / Tablet / iPad

2. Use internet through mobile phone (hotspot or tethering) as it is not stable.
3. Switch to another internet during the exam without informing the Technical Helpdesk.
4. Switch to another browser during the exam without informing the Technical Helpdesk.
5. Refresh the exam page while typing the response to the subjective question(s)

1. What should I do if my subject is not listed in the table under “Examination Schedule”?
Please contact the respective subject teacher office of the COE

2. How would I know my Registration Number?

Please check your University Identity Card or contact the office

3. Which Mobile Number should be provided on Admit Card portal to create the I’d?
The mobile number registered with SXUK to be provided in prescribed text box. In case you don’t remember
please write to online.examsupport@sxuk.edu.in

4. How would I know the Technical Helpdesk Number?

Printed on the Admit Card

5. I am facing issues to download the Admit Card

Please refer to the Candidate Manual (page 8) or write to online.examsupport@sxuk.edu.in

6. When would I get the Technical Support details?

It will be printed on the Admit Card so you will get the details only after Admit card goes live

7. What is the difference between “Admit Card Helpdesk” and “Technical Support”?
In case you face any issue(s) pertaining to Admit Card download or operating the portal “Admit Card
Helpdesk” will support. If you are not able to configure the system for mock / exam “Technical Support” will
help

8. My system is affected by Virus; what should I do?

Clean through a good anti-virus. If the issues persist format the system

9. I do not possess internet connectivity through any Wi-Fi or Broadband connection. Can I take the exam
through mobile phone hotspot tethering?
Yes, you can but the bandwidth should be minimum 3 Mbps

10. When I tried to login to the exam browser through the credentials it responded “Authentication failed.
Please check your login credentials and try again.”
Check the credentials and login again. If the issue persists, contact Technical Support

11. When I click on “START Exam” button the page is buffering continuously
Please check the internet connectivity as the application is not able to fetch required data from the main
server

12. My system / exam browser got hanged / shuts down during the exam

13. Even if I select / type the response and click on NEXT the palette of concerned question(s) does not turn
GREEN OR becomes RED. What Should I do?

14. The timer on the exam console has stopped

15. After I click on “SUBMIT” button the page is buffering page is buffering continuously
