    TRADITIONAL RITUALS IN IN INDIA (draft)

    I felt this to be the most apt theme to research about because my family has a list of ideas
    to provide me for this project. Traditional rituals in India came into existence a long time
    ago. I would be focusing more of RITUALISTIC PRACTICES IN INDIA in detail.
    In modern era there are two types of explanations that follow :

    RITUALS

    SUPERSTITIONS RELIGIOUS - PRACTICES


    Any belief explained by a supernatural The service and worship of god,
    Causality against the modern science. Mostly celebrated through festivals.

    eg: Grahan, cutting nails and hair on Saturdays, eg: Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, Eid.
    black cat crossing your path gets bad luck etc.
    CONTENTS:

    • Introduction about the theme


    • A gist of both the ideas
    • Differentiating points
    • History/origin (in detail)
    • List of superstitions and religious practices followed by various religions
    • Listing of top most superstitions and religious practices with explanations
    • Personal experience: Rituals in my family (I have asked them a set of questions on
    cultures and rituals we follow)
    • My view : what I learned throughout this research, and my views on this topic
    (reviews/opinion).
