User guide for PID Temperature Unit

--------------Technical New Release

The following procedures are intended to introduce how to set and use the PID
temperature unit.

1. Remove the decimal point in the temperature value.


1) Power on the printer.
2) Power on the PIDTemperature Unit by turning on the associated power switch.

3) While the PID displays the temperature for example, “18.3” as the above figure, press
“SET” button, the PID will display “0000”.

4) Use “>”, “∨”and “∧” to change the value to “0089”.


5) Press “SET” twice and press “∧”, the PID will display “P10.0”

6) Press “SET”, the PID will display “Inty”

7) Press “∨”until the PID displays “End”,and then press “SET” to save the parameters and
quit the setting.
2. Set the temperature limit and calibrate the PID temperature unit.
1) Power on the printer.
2) Power on the PIDTemperature Unit by turning on the associated power switch.
3) While the PID displays the temperature for example, “18.3” as the above figure, press
“SET” button, the PID will display “0000”.

4) Use “>”, “∨”and “∧” to change the value to “0001”.

5) Press “SET” twice until the PID displays “0800”.


6) Use “>”, “∨”and “∧” to change the value(temperature limit) , here we recommend “0045”
which means 45 ℃.

7) Press “SET” and “∨” until PID displays “End”

8) Press “SET” again to save the parameter and quit the setting.
9) Long press the“>” until the indicating light “OUT(AT)” blinks. This is intended to calibrate
the PID to make sure its temperature is same as the temperature of heating element. Before
perform the calibration, make sure the heating element in room temperature. Cool down the
heating element to room temperature.
8) While the indicating light “Out(AT)” becomes off, the calibration is finished.
3. Adjust the temperature of PID
After finishing all above settings, press “∧” and the temperature number will blink. Use “>”,
“∨”and “∧” to change the value. After setting the temperature, wait for 5 seconds until the
temperature number stop blinking, which means the temperature has been set.
