Cleaning SOP for DX5 Head

1. Prepare materials and tools

1) ThunderJet Eco-solvent flush

2) Syringe which can inject the flush into the print head nozzles.
3) A container that collects the flush from the print head.
2. Cleaning procedure
1) In order to prevent the flush to go into cable connectors of DX5 Print Head to cause
electric damage, use residue-free tape to cover them.

2) Raise up the cable connectors side a little to prevent the flush from print head. Then
place the print head above the container and connect the syringe filled with flush to the
ink inlet.

3) Use the syringe to gently& slowly push ThunderJet Eco-solvent flush into print head
nozzles until the flush can go smoothly out of the print head for 1-2 seconds. Repeat this
operation for about 10 times and watch whether the flush can go smoothly or not.
