In my future, I want to become this person who has travelled the world

and seen so many things and learned about so many cultures through
their authentic cuisines. This will serve my personal goal of reaching
deeply into my roots and be able to know myself better.

Joining the SCC culinary Art program is the very first step of this life
long journey that I just embarked on. I'm a very proud Egyptian man
and I always had this curiosity about my origins and deep history. One
can wonder, how would travelling the world and getting exposed to
other cultures' cuisines fit into this diving deeply into my own culture
narrative?

I find both aspects not contradictory to each other. In fact (I believe) in

order to be able to understand yourself better, you need to understand
others well.

This is the direction and the journey of whom I want to become in my

future.
