Megaron, Palace of Nestor, Pylos

Here, you can see a 3D image of the megaron. The megaron was fronted by an open 2 column
porch, and then it had a central open hatch at the center that had an Aquilius on the roof that was
bringing water and light into the main room. I’d like you to pay attention to the structure, I mean
there are 2 columns at the main entrance, and then entering to the main loom. Because this
megaron somehow is a prototype in terms of the plan of the first Greek temples in much more
later stage.
