CASE STUDY: An agency employs temporary staff to conduct market research for its clients. The staff are employed only on a ‘per job’ basis, although as one job finishes another one starts. At a given moment one employee can work on only one job with that job having only one rate. The one job can have many hours and can be done over many dates. The one rate can also be paid over many hours and worked over many dates. Finally, one employee can work many hours over many dates. It has asked you to build a database system to store details about staff, jobs, rates and the hours that staff have worked.
