Self-efficacy, locus of control, perceived stress and student satisfaction

Model

Descriptive Analysis

1. Demographic characteristic not balance in terms of gender & resident status

2. For doctoral program status, the samples are very reasonable because those who give
feedback in the survey have gone through the stress level and experience the self-efficacy.
Self-efficacy an individual's belief in his or her capacity to execute behaviours necessary to
produce specific performance attainments

3. Employment status, emotional and time limit process for the students was balanced.

4. Male vs female comparison not balance. Observed high demographic characteristic for
female student.

1. Table 4 shows the variable means and standard deviations, and self-efficacy shows a total
mean of 7.05 out of a possible score of 10.
2. The standard deviation of this scale was 1.85. Scores of 6.8 to 10 indicate a high level of self-
efficacy and the score of 7.05 indicates that the sample used in this study had a high level of
self-efficacy.

1. Table 5 shows that there were no significant differences in self-efficacy between male and
female.
1. Table 6 revealed a significant difference in self-efficacy between doctoral candidates and
graduates [F= 1.97, p = 0.04], with graduates (M = 7.56, SD = 1.80) showing higher levels of
self-efficacy than doctoral candidates (M = 6.76, SD = 1.83).

1. The reliability for the self-efficacy , local of controls & perceived stress Cronbach alpha result
are acceptable due to the results are more than 0.8.

1. Table 9. Indicate that all indices fit almost perfectly with the hypothesized model.
