The government takes the issue of this dangerous virus

threat seriously, especially the development of the
second wave. The current priority of the government
is to prevent the spread of this new pandemic that will
affect more people. The current situation of the outbreak
requires drastic action to be taken to recover the
situation as soon as possible.

To face this country’s unexpected situation, cooperation
and tolerance among the people of various races is
essential to ensure that the government can do its best
to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak in Malaysia. Let’s

Soalan 1: Apakah coronavirus?

Coronavirus (CoV) adalah sejenis virus yang boleh menyebabkan jangkitan


saluran pernafasan. Terdapat beberapa jenis coronavirus seperti severe
acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS) dan Middle East Respiratory
syndrome-related coronavirus (MER-CoV). Coronavirus terbaharu yang
ditemui di China adalah Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19).

Jangkitan coronavirus menyebabkan spektrum gejala daripada selesema


biasa kepada radang paru-paru (pneumonia) yang teruk.

Soalan 2: Bagaimanakah novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) merebak?

Cara penularan novel coronavirus COVID-19 daripada individu kepada


individu yang lain melalui titisan dari hidung atau mulut yang tersebar apabila
seseorang yang dijangkiti COVID-19 batuk atau bersin. Titisan ini merentasi
objek dan permukaan di sekelilingnya. Orang lain kemudian mendapat
jangkitan COVID-19 dengan menyentuh objek atau permukaan ini, kemudian
menyentuh mata, hidung atau mulutnya. Sesorang itu juga boleh dijangkiti
COVID-19 jika mereka berada dekat dengan pesakit COVID-19 yang batuk
atau bersin atau melepaskan titisan. Itulah sebabnya penting untuk
mengekalkan jarak lebih dari 1meter (3 kaki) dari orang yang sakit.

KKM kini sedang mengawasi perkembangan jangkitan ini dan situasi BM/BI/
sentiasa berubah dan akan mengemas kini maklumat penyakit ini dalam
laman sesawang KKM dari semasa ke semasa. Orang ramai dinasihatkan
supaya sentiasa berwaspada dan mengamalkan kebersihan diri yang baik.

APLIKASI MYSEJAHTERA
Aplikasi yang dibangunkan oleh Kerajaan Malaysia untuk membantu dalam
pengawasan penularan kes jangkitan COVID-19 dalam komuniti dengan
membolehkan pengguna melaksanakan penilaian risiko jangkitan sendiri.
Pada masa yang sama, ia membantu Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM)
mendapatkan maklumat untuk merancang tindakan pencegahan jangkitan
dengan cepat dan berkesan.

An application developed by the Government of Malaysia to assist in monitoring of


COVID-19 transmission in the community by enabling users to assess their own risk
of infection. The application also provides the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) the
necessary information to plan for early and effective countermeasures.
