Freemasons in Moulamein

On Thursday, 10th March, a large number of Freemasons gathered in the Moulamein Town Hall for the yearly
Masonic meeting of Lodge Balranald. Freemasons travelled to the meeting from Echuca, Barham, Kerang, Swan Hill
and (of course) Balranald.
The Master of Lodge Balranald, Rt Wor Bro Peter Jackson is a well known member of the community and extremely
seasoned traveller within Masonic circles, was delighted when at least six sitting Masters from within the district at-
tended.
A very enjoyable night was had by all and a big ‘thank you’ was expressed to all the ladies who prepared the
wonderful supper.

On Tuesday, 15 March Bro Alan James Lilley, of Barham was initiated
into Freemasonry at the Border Lodge, before a gathering of around 30
Freemasons.
Welcome Alan, we all hope that you enjoy the Masonic fraternity and that
your stay with us is long and satisfying. We wish you all the best.

Les has had a very busy year so far and it looks like continuing.
