My deep sense of gratitude toward my guide Dr. (Mrs.) Mashitha Pise, Head of Department of

Biochemistry, Hislop College, Nagpur, for her valuable guidance, imparting knowledge and

critical analysis of my result, which led to successful completion of this dissertation. Her

scientific approach, promptness to deal with the matter in time and thoroughness taught me

lesson for my future.
