Idioms and expressions related to sleep:

1. sleep tight! = sleep well (a way of saying ‘goodnight’ to someone)

Example: Sleep tight! See you in the morning.

2. sleep like a baby = sleep very deeply and peacefully

Example: I always sleep like a baby when I’m on holiday.

3. night owl = someone who regularly stays up late at night

Example: My wife is a night owl, but I like to be in bed by 10 o'clock.

4. Early bird = someone who gets ready or wakes up very early

Example: We've always been early birds, getting up at 5.30 or 6am.

5. doze off = to fall asleep especially for a short period of time

Example: A few students dozed off during the movie.
