Dear Sir/Madam,
Reference for Ms. Arinola Adelaja
I write in support of the application of the above-named for admission into the Master’s
programme in Public Health. My remarks are based on a sound knowledge of the applicant
over the last five years.
I first encountered Ms Adelaja in 2017 at the University of Lagos, Nigeria and we
became friends largely due to her interpersonal skills. We have since worked on several
projects together, which has availed me the opportunity to attest to her work ethics and
tech savvy nature. She is a calm, soft-spoken and well-mannered individual. She is
empathetic and has a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Ms Adelaja is highly intellectual, vastly knowledgeable and pays attention to details.
She is very passionate about public health as she is quick to notice issues bordering on the
subject around her environment.
I have had the privilege of experiencing Ms Adelaja’s leadership skill in both official
and unofficial circles, which gives me the assurance that she will put it to good use in her
pursuit of a degree in public health.
Ms Arinola Adelaja studied at the University of Lagos, where she obtained her
Master’s degree. She currently works in the banking sector in Nigeria and has developed
both soft and hard skills as a result.
A well-rounded scholar and researcher, Ms Adelaja has had considerable scholarly
exposure through research in Nigeria. Her discipline and work ethics helped her sail the
murky waters of university education. She has an excellent mastery of the English language
and complements it with an impeccable writing skill.
A pleasant character and good mixer, Ms Adelaja relates well with colleagues,
friends and students alike. Her cosmopolitan outlook and liberal attitude make her the ideal
candidate for admission. She will be an asset if offered admission.
Her application is, therefore, strongly recommended to you for your most favourable
consideration.
Thank you.

Sincerely,
Abimbola Oyarinu (PhD)
