Transmission Over Heating
Transmission over heating can be caused by a failed cooler bypass. An easy fix for this is to disable the
bypass cooling system and modify it for full cooler flow.

1. Remove the snap ring and cooler bypass valve. (Figure 1)

2. Use a 21/64 drill bit to prep the area. Use a 1/8 NPT to tap the are approximately 8 threads deep.
(Figure 2)

3. Install a 1/8” Allen plug into the tapped area until snug. (Figure 3)

4. Reinstall the end plug and snap ring. (Figure 4)

5. Install the bypass block back into the vehicle.
