Week 02

Talking about my childhood

I am Sebastián Maldonado, I am twenty-one years old, I was born in the year nineteen hundred

and ninety-nine in the city of Arequipa. Who are my parents and why do I love them so much?

My parents are Oscar Maldonado and Rosana Pacheco, those who are forty years old and

since I was a child have always given me unconditional support. When I was little, I liked sports

and had the dream of being a great athlete. My favorite activity was reading books, as it made

me feel happy and excited. Most of my childhood was spent traveling with my parents to

Canada, the United States, Germany and many more, but I hated flying because it scared me. I

still remember when I was six years old, they had prepared a big party for me with the theme of

spider man, the weather was sunny, my house was full of guests who were having fun and

dancing. One of my favorite foods was red noodles and chicken rice, although I don't really like

chicken. About my favorite cartoons, I remember that I liked to see one More Show on Cartoon

Network, Ben 10, Rick and Morty, Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo and Adventure Time. At

the age of nine, my artistic side was born, since I began to ask my parents to buy me musical

instruments such as the guitar, the piano, the drums and the flute. They bought me the

instruments to be able to work some parts of my brain and thus stimulate my learning. At about

ten years old, I began to pay attention to toy cars, I wished I could have all the toy cars in the

mall, I was very happy when my mother bought me cars just to accompany her to the

supermarket. At some point in my childhood, I wanted to be an Automotive Engineer, design car

interiors. When I was eleven years old, I was attracted to video games, I felt excited, happy,

impatient and amazed by all the games.
