PRE - LICENSING TEST FOR INSURANCE SURVEYORS & LOSS ASSESSORS ‘The IRDAI has authorized the Institute to conduct Pre-licensing test for Insurance Surveyors & Loss Assessors, as required by the IRDAI regulations. Detailed information regarding syllabus, enrollment, examination fees, dates etc, is posted on the Institute's website as well as on the IRDAI's website www.irdagov.in This examination will be conducted though online mode with MCQ pattern ie. twice a year in the month of May/June & November/December and passing percentage is 60% (ie. 60 marks out of 100 marks). Persons enrolled with the IRDAL as trainee surveyors, who have undergone the prescribed practical training and have submitted their quarterly training reports as per the norms to the IRDAI, are eligible to appear in the pre-licensing test for insurance surveyors and loss assessors. Candidates can register, enroll & book the slot/subject and make the payment for Surveyor Examination/ Papers through online option available on LI. website. The registration fees for fresh candidates (one time) is Rs, 500/- and the exam fees is Rs.500/- per subject plus applicable service tax applicable from May- June, 2017 examination onwards.
