540 Diploma Interactive Media-Film and Photography

Brief: Project 4
Produce a carefully planned brief with a clear structure showing a time plan, and
recognition of deadlines.

In project four I will be working in film and photography.

In my photography I will be expressing the theme insecurity.
I am interested in this because I think there is a lot of directions, I could go in. I
will also produce a music video outcome combining film and animation.

I will research interesting filming techniques and editing processes. This will
help me planning my work so I can make interesting cuts and shots.

I will develop my ideas with Microsoft PowerPoint. I will produce Mind maps for
outcome ideas and multiple mood boards of images/videos to use as inspiration.
The image references will be sourced from Pinterest.

As part of my research, I will look at lighting diagrams and source props and
outfits for my photoshoots. I will analyse artists work and make sure mine is of
the same standard. I will also research music to use in my video.

The samples I will be producing will be contact sheets and different edits of my
photo outcomes and the editing process of my video outcome. This will show the
experiments I produced before choosing my final outcomes.

I will manage my project by making a timetable which will organise when I will
be working on specific aspects of my project e.g., when I will start
filming/photoshoots, when I will edit etc. I will also make sure to evaluate my
work often.

The expected outcomes will be multiple photos for each photoshoot edited with
photoshop and one video outcome. The minimum will be one video and three
photoshoots. The outcomes should be to a professional standard.

The expected costs may come from props and equipment outfits makeup
decorations I will make an estimation of how much each outcome may cost when
doing my research and planning.
