Description of the witch


 In the moonlight the witch’s face was cold
and white and terrifying.
 She did not look evil, yet evil seeped from
her like a poison gas.
 Her fingernails were like the dry claws of a
vulture.
 Her hands looked yellow and wrinkled, like
the claws of chicken.
 She had yellow, clawlike hands.
 She burst out into terrible, screeching
laughter.
