What other techniques might Regal use to improve supply chain management?
Regal can decrease their costs for the production phase. They can use technology more for their
inventory management in order to sustain “just in time” process. They can look for other vendors
to improve their supply chain management. With the help of the new vendors, they can diminish
their possible risk of having inventory problems. After they find new vendors, they can monitor
and compare with the vendors that they currently have.

What kind of response might members of the supply chain expect from Regal
because of their “partnering” in the supply chain?
Thanks to “partnering” in supply chain these members of the supplier chain may have improved
commitment as a result of their collaboration with Regal. This “partnering” will encourage a
more crucial relationship between Regal and its supply chain partners. This “partnering” will
provide with a better understanding between Regal and its’ supply chain partners. Also, with the
agreement that they have, the cost of the production may decrease because of the loyalty. On the
other hand, if the partners feel that Regal is dependent on them, they may increase the price to be
more profitable.

Why is supply chain management important to Regal?


Because Regal invests a big amount of its revenue on new purchases for the next sales, supply-
chain management allows the company to develop stronger long-term strategic relationships with
its suppliers. With the help of this stronger long-term strategic relationships, Regal can maximize
its profits by reducing the costs. Moreover, if the supply chain management is handled properly,
customers will be more likely to satisfied because, they will have their products on time with
great shape.
