1. FLOW CHARTING

You will find attached an actual stock order confirmation ticket.  You are required to
flow the major processes through high level data flow diagrams.  Please use
Microsoft Visio or equivalent for this assessment.
 
Here is a brief written description of the process:

The Client Relations Officer (CRO) receives the request to purchase from a client,
who may do so either by phone or in person. She will complete the form, updating
the client database if necessary. JMMB is required to place all orders on the Jamaica
Central Security Deposit System (JCSD). If the client does not have a JCSD account
number # then she invites the client to sign a JCSD agreement, requests a photo ID
and forwards the agreement to the Equity Settlement Officer to open a JCSD A/c on
the Equator system used by the JCSD. She will then record the JCSD # on the share
purchase order.

Assuming that the client is an individual the CRO will copy the Identification
information to the Client File, and forward the Share Purchase Form to the Trader for
execution of the trade. She also requests a 10% deposit from the client.

If the client is a company, the CRO would need to request an authorization letter and
incorporation documents.

The CRO deposits the 10% down payment in the client’s Money Market Account
where it will be held until the transaction is complete. The CRO will issue a receipt for
funds deposited. The Equity Settlement Officer will then send the funds to the
Accounts Department for deposit.

Only a Team Leader can authorize a transaction exclusive of a deposit. In that case,
the Equity Settlement Officer will arrange for funds to be collected before settlement
day.

Your instructions are to flowchart the above process including any assumptions you
feel necessary.

2. Data Base Design

Provide a high level Entity relationship diagram that would possibly support the
database structure for the Equity Order ticket. The ERP should depict the database
tables and the relationship. The detail table structure is not required

3. Requirements

Using the flow chart produced for the Equity Order write at least one (maximum two)
pages describing the requirements for package selection to support the business
process

4. Test Plan

JMMB is planning to upgrade its trading system by moving from Version 1 to Version
2. The system should be able to execute the following functionality:
1. Ability to buy and sell bonds from a company and individual client accounts
2. Ability to select settlement date for payment
3. Sale can only be executed without authorization if clients has money in their
account to pay for the bonds
4. Special authorization is required if the client does not have money in the
account on the day of settlement for the sale to go through
5. Ability to cancel bonds orders before settlement date
6. Ability for the client to specify where coupon payments are to be made
7. Ability to change coupon payment instructions on any given day before
execution date
8. Ability to execute coupon payment instructions on given day
9. System requires special authorization to change coupon payment instructions

Write a test plan to ensure the above requirements are met by the software

5. PROJECT PLAN

You are required to create a high level project plan for the evaluation, selection and
implementation of an Enterprise Resource Management System (ERP). The ERP
system is to replace the current applications used at JMMB for front, back and middle
office. The project plan should identify the major task to complete within the project.
Use Microsoft Project.
