Established in August 2005, Football Club MILSAMI is the only Orhei City
based football club to participate in Divizia Nationala – the top-level football
competition in Moldova.
In summer 2010, 23-year-old
businessman Ilan Shor took command at Viitorul Orhei, changing their name to MILSAMI – the new prefix a composite of the initials of the club's main investors. The Orhei club in red and whites stripes, nicknamed “Vulturii Roșii” (“The Red Eagles”) came third in the National Division in their first season as Milsami to secure a UEFA competition debut, then won their first trophy, the Moldovan Cup, in 2012 (repeating this success in 2017/2018 season). Milsami also won the SuperCup of Moldova in 2012 and 2019. FC Milsami Orhei won its first league title in 2015, becoming the first team to take the title away from the cities of Chișinău and Tiraspol. “It is our ambition to increase participation in football on and off the field, to find and develop the best footballing talent, and to deliver an exciting and forward playing game. By achieving these ambitions – playing attractive football, engaging our community of passionate fans and adopting a uniquely local yet national approach – we are growing a sustainable and socially responsible organisation. “ Name of stadium: Complexul Sportiv Raional Total capacity: 3.023 Year of construction: 2007 Running track: yes Surface: Grass Field size:: 105m x 68m Adress: Strada Scrisului Latin 13, Orhei MD-3505, Moldova
