INTRODUCTION

Production of Dicalcium Phosphate

Dicalcium phosphate (DCP), CaHPO4, can also be called calcium monohydrogen
phosphate or dibasic calcium phosphate. The demand for DCP has been increasing with rapid
urbanization and growing industrialization. Industries manufacturing products such as fertilizers,
feeds, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical need DCP for their production (Pangarkar, 2019). One of
the applications is to provide nourishment for livestock feeds. DCP has mineral salts from
phosphorous group that can improve the growth of the livestock and increase their resistance
against diseases.
