Happiness is a state of mind

When someone thinks about happiness, they often associate it with an object or
even a person. But what if I told you that was not the case?

True happiness is not a temporary feeling that comes and goes, but rather
something that guides our thoughts and our reactions to what happens in our lives.
Many of our choices are automatic. This is how our brains work, and thank
goodness for that, because otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to function. But it’s in
our power to make conscious choices to ensure happiness is a state of mind in our
everyday lives.

True happiness comes from surrounding yourself with people whom you love and
love in return.

We spend so much time thinking about happiness as something to attain,


something to look forward to, or perhaps something we can work on to make
happen, one day.

Happiness is different. If you are grateful for what you’ve got right now, you will
also be happy with everything you get.
