Is a figure of speech in which abstract ideas and

principles are described in terms of characters,
figures, and events. It can be employed in prose and

an idea or principle. The objective is to preach some
kind of moral lesson.
Allegory

A one-to-one correspondence between a

series of abstract ideas and a series of images
presented in the form of a story or narrative.

Allegory “both conceals and reveals”.
