It is true that gay rights movement started when everyone saw that we can fight for our rights.
The movement started well and has been making progress but still needs to be done. The
movement should achieve its full potential and this can only be achieved if the challenges
rocking the movement are handled well and dealt with once and for all. Several people have
joined the movement but they don’t want to show publicly that they are members in fear of being
discriminated upon by other members of the society. The fear of discrimination means that the
society has not completely accepted this movement. As much as there are issues in the
movement which are highlights of human rights movement more still needs to be done to make
sure that the society accepts this group of people without any form of hate or discrimination. The
movement should find out the best ways through which the society at large can be made to
accept all people despite their sexual affiliation. If the society is made aware of this group, then it
will be rare to face employment discrimination, gay conversion therapy which has been found to
be harmful and discrimination is schools.
